Dr. Nida Akhter
General Dentist
Dr. Nida Akhter, a Chicago native, graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry with a degree in doctor of dental surgery (DDS). She moved to Dallas two years ago and has been practicing in the DFW area since then. She believes the greatest responsibility as a dentist is to educate her patients, help them understand their options, and make them feel comfortable in her chair. She is experienced in all facets of dentistry and especially enjoys working with kids.
Dr. Akhter also places a high importance on continuing education and keeping up to date with new techniques and technology. She stays up to date by attending seminars and conferences to provide the best possible care to her patients. She is also actively involved in the community and often takes part in healthcare screenings.
In her spare time, Dr. Akhter enjoys traveling, outdoor activities, curling up with a good book, and experimenting with new recipes.
